Pantheon Line
While working on new designs for Spring 2022 and reflecting on the collections that have gone before, Charles had a very peaceful feeling thinking about certain designs both he and our clients can always count on. Those styles that we love and our clients love and are truly emblematic of Charles Lord. We decided to elevate those styles (and the ones like them that are yet to come) and make a new line from Charles Lord. We call it “Pantheon”.
The Pantheon line occupies that space the fashion industry calls “demi-couture”. It’s is an antecedent to Couture as it’s requires less time and expense, both for the purveyor and the patron. Think of it as a mid-way between Haute Couture and Ready-to-Wear.

These styles will always be offered by Charles Lord. Because of the nature of the designs, there will be pieces available “off-the-rack”: one-off, in limited quantities, still hand-made, just not at the request of a specific client. Think of them as the equivalent of “samples” for the runway. But the majority of the pieces made for the Pantheon line will be custom: made-to-order in the fabric of the client’s choice and with minor details altered to their taste.

Major variations or departures from styles in the Pantheon line can be requested by clients, but this then becomes a full Couture design, with all the associated procedures, considerations, and investment that level of design and production demands.

Pantheon styles can be ordered both online via IG and our upcoming e-commerce site, as well as at in-person Charles Lord events like our trunk shows and pop-ups.

The Pantheon line will be continue to evolve as Charles Lord evolves . More styles will be added. Maybe at some point it will serve as the basis for a foray into more traditional ready-to-wear line.
